Dash16!

The Dash16 is a data acquisition card used by Professor Ray in the CS dept at UIUC. It is register compatible with the DAS 1600 series of cards.

I wrote this device driver as a freshman in college because I felt like learning about the Linux Kernel.

The device driver was part of our LUG EOH project I wrote most of the device driver code, while Steve Engelhardt wrote a gtk+ oscilloscope. Scott Olsson worked on the programmers documentation for the driver.

Unfortunately, despite our hard work, we didn't even get judged at EOH. To add insult to injury, the Linux Lab Project ignored my submissions of the driver, and never put it on their page, despite the fact that we were the first such device driver available for the 2.2 series of kernels.
